Welcome to The Spencer Arms

A destination food house set in Chapel Brampton village, The Spencer Arms is half way between Northampton and Market Harborough, with Althorpe House just down the road. A place steeped in history, we have retained many of the original features which create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We re-opened in October 2008 following a refurbishment & a stylish new look. This is still a traditional English pub with a modern twist. Decorated in colours of plum, stone with a hint of green, it all blends well with the new furniture, fixtures & fittings. There is a mixture of seating from butcher's block & leather seating in the waiting area to high backed comfy chairs. Features include inglenook fireplaces, two open fires, beamed ceilings and much more. Part of the Chef & Brewer chain, we pride ourselves in offering the highest standards of traditional pub food, drink and service. Meals are all cooked to order, being prepared from fresh ingredients by very competent chefs. Our chefs also have a free hand to rustle up some delicious specials. We now hold a popular Monday night poker league and hold a monthly quiz on the last Sunday of the month. A wine list is available so that you can complement your meal with a quality glass or bottle of wine. We also offer tea and coffee to finish along with beers and real ales from the bar.
