Welcome to The Rose & Crown

The Rose & Crown is a very well known food house situated in the village of Wick on the main A420. A fantastic listed building full to the brim with history, which dates back to the 16th century when John Gulley, the first bare knuckle fighter in the country lived here. Today there is a traditional ambience with real log fires blazing in the winter and candlelit table service in the evenings. Little nooks and crannies give people space to enjoy their own personal group and our pretty patio area is bathed in sunshine all summer. A Wonderful retreat midway between Bristol and Bath and only a stones throw away from the Golden Valley Trail, one of the West Country's most treasured trails.
