Welcome to The Hutt

Lynn, Kevin & the team offer a really warm welcome to the Hutt which was built in 1400 as part of the Newstead estate, owned by the Byron family from 1540. It used to be known as the Royal Hutt & King John stayed here when it was first built. There is a blocked off tunnel, built by the Monks, a mile long, which stretches from the Abbey to the pub. A traditional pub with a modern contemporary twist, oozing comfort & cosiness throughout. The excellent choice of food from the New Menu cases somewhat a dilemma as to which fantastic dish to try, & the sharing platters are so impressive, using only selected finest fresh produce & British steaks, there is a dish for everyone's taste buds. Accompany the great taste of the freshly cooked food with our tempting selection of wines or try one of our six real Guest ales. Our chef's specials are not to be missed.
