Welcome to The Hinderton Arms

The Hinderton Arms exudes the character and charm of a traditional British pub, offering the perfect place for those seeking refreshment, relaxation and excellent food. We can trace a pub on this site as far back as 1826 when a Turnpike Act was passed which mentioned The Shrewsbury Arms, this was the inn's original name being taken from the Earl of Shrewsbury, a local and owner. A little later the pub was known as The Hinderton Inn, probably named so because of the neighbouring Hinderton Hall and after reverting back to The Shrewsbury Arms inn for a while went on to become the combination of the two called The Hinderton Arms by which it is known today.
