Welcome to The Beach

The Beach is situated on the side of Hollingsworth Lake Country Park in the South Pennine moorland area. The park is very popular with visitors who come to enjoy various activities, including water sports, cycling and walking the many paths and trails around the lake. This is very much a destination food house on the tourist route. Built in 1801, The Beach is full of character, yet newly refurbished to give a modern, relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant itself overlooks Hollingworth Lake giving a fantastic view whilst dining. Food is served throughout the restaurant and bar, with a wide range of meals available on the Fayre and Square menu. There is a large beer garden with two childrens play areas to allow the younger visitors to run off their excess energy, while the adults enjoy a refreshing drink. The Beach also has a function room with private bar, available for hire for all your special occasions.
